Worked closely with the business development specialist at MetLife to create new opportunities for the employee benefits market, and successfully marketed to and served clients in this sphere of influence. Serviced and attracted retail business from individuals preparing for retirement within a five year range. Marketing efforts included affiliate networking, natural market outreach, billboard advertising and business walk-ins.

Radio News Internship, KQED FM                                      San Francisco, CA 2006-07

Collaborated with the production of “The California Report.” Created feature stories. Edited a variety of radio news pieces. Supervised quality control of reporters' features.

Radio News Reporter, EWTN                                               Birmingham, AL 2002-2005
Produced a daily newscast for EWTN Radio. Gathered story ideas through research and networking. Conducted numerous on-air interviews. 

Television Producer, EWTN                                                   Birmingham, AL 2002-2005

Contributed story ideas and wrote news copy for “The World Over” weekly program. Produced on-air content for broadcast during Papal Interregnum. Developed show topics.  Screened phone calls and e-mails for live broadcasts. Assisted with guest bookings.
